Long recovery from mass extinction seen
GAITHERSBURG, Md., Nov. 25 (UPI) -- Future supercomputing hardware will be key to harnessing the fusion reactions that power the sun, but only if existing computer simulation codes are integrated, a government panel reported Monday. About $400 million in funding over 15 years could build a system able to model an entire fusion reactor, one scientist said.
