Epilepsy drugs might cause some seizures

PARIS, Nov. 14 (UPI) -- By probing the brains of epileptics, French scientists have discovered seizure-fighting drugs at times might actually trigger brain seizure activity. These new and unexpected findings shed light on why drugs used to fight epilepsy prove ineffective against some 10 percent of all patients and could lead to better means to treat or prevent the disease.
