New Zealand, US teaming up on climate

WASHINGTON, Oct. 25 (UPI) -- The Bush administration and New Zealand will use existing science and technology agreements to strengthen research efforts on global climate change, officials of both countries said Friday. The South Pacific island nation can offer help in such areas as wind power and mitigating biological greenhouse gases, New Zealand's science minister said.
