Similar patterns in genes, brains, feeding

REHOVAT, Israel, Oct. 24 (UPI) -- An algorithm by an international team of scientists has detected recurring patterns in networks making up everything from food webs to genes to the Internet, they reported Thursday. By uncovering these building blocks of networks, the findings could help locate information faster on the Internet, prevent extinctions of endangered species and lead researchers into new ways of studying and treating diseases.
