Groups to challenge medical privacy rule

WASHINGTON, Oct. 21 (UPI) -- Patient rights groups said Monday they are trying to muster legislation and perhaps a legal challenge to block a new federal rule that allows the disclosure of medical informaiton without a patient's consent. One Congressman introduced legislation last week to reverse the rule and a law firm is considering a legal challenge.
