Nanotech finds biological inspiration

BETHESDA, Md., Oct. 12 (UPI) -- As scientists explore manipulating matter at the molecular or even atomic scale, they find themselves looking more closely at DNA, nature's original nanotechnology, scientists said Saturday at a conference. The versatile chain of chemicals could be strong enough to serve as scaffolding or be utilized in molecular motors, they said.
