Shuttle launch delayed until Monday

CAPE CANAVERAL, Fla., Oct. 2 (UPI) -- NASA is rescheduling shuttle Atlantis' launch on a space station assembly mission to no earlier than Monday due to the threat Hurricane Lili poses to the agency's Mission Control Center in Houston, officials said Wednesday. Storm preparations are even affecting the International Space Station crew, 250 miles above Earth, as NASA wants to prepare the outpost in case Mission Control is shut down.
