UNIONVILLE, Conn., Aug. 27 (UPI) -- A group of amateur rocketeers has received clearances from the U.S. government to launch a 20-foot-tall rocket into space next month. The homemade rocket, called PRIMERA, would become the first civilian-launched booster to reach space. It is slated to be launched from the Nevada desert.
