MD, nurse shortages reaching crisis levels

WASHINGTON, Aug. 7 (UPI) -- A shortage of surgeons, pharmacists and nurses in hospitals across the U.S. has reached crisis levels and may get even worse over the next several years, health care experts warn. The shortages already are impacting quality of care and if they are not addressed now, the aging population may not be able to obtain the health care they need, experts said.
