Nevada sues DOE over Yucca impact

WASHINGTON, June 7 (UPI) -- Nevada will most likely stand alone in its legal fight against the proposed nuclear waste storage site at Yucca Mountain, observers said Friday. The state's latest action, a lawsuit claiming the Department of Energy produced the "worst environmental impact statement of its kind ever" on Yucca, was expected, a DOE spokesman said.
