Private funding limited for nanotech

NEW YORK, May 21 (UPI) -- The exciting, long-term possibilities of nanotechnology, the science of manipulating matter at the atomic level, fall short of inspiring venture capitalists to underwrite today's research, speakers said Tuesday at a nanotech conference. Government and academic sources provide the best avenue for obtaining support, they said.
