NASA to restore Teacher in Space Project

WASHINGTON, April 12 (UPI) -- NASA will announce Friday it will launch teacher-astronaut Barbara Morgan to the International Space Station possibly as early as 2004. Morgan, 50, was co-finalist with Christa McAuliffe for the first teacher into space. McAuliffe was killed in January 1986 along with 6 other astronauts when the Space Shuttle Challenger was destroyed.
