Breast cancer linked to pregnancy weight

SAN FRANCISCO, April 9 (UPI) -- Cancer researchers reported Tuesday women who gain more than 38 pounds during pregnancy increase their risk of developing breast cancer after menopause by 40 percent compared to women who gain 25 pounds to 35 pounds during pregnancy. About 30 percent of women gain more than 38 pounds during pregnancy, one researcher said.
