Non-lethal grenade gives better bang

ALBUQUERQUE, April 5 (UPI) -- By scaling down the principles used in massive Air Force bombs, researchers at Sandia National Laboratories have produced a safer version of the "flash-bang" grenades used to stun and disorient people. The developments should protect police officers, suspects and the public, a longtime proponent of non-lethal weapons said Friday.
