WASHINGTON, March 21 (UPI) -- House Appropriations Committee members Thursday peppered the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention's acting director with sometimes hostile queries regarding the Bush administration's 2003 budget request for the agency. Topics faced by Dr. David Fleming ran the gamut from gun control and occupational health to child immunization programs.
