Stroke after microbleeds is higher risk

LYON, France, Feb. 28 (UPI) -- Doctors in Lyon say people with a prior history of tiny, often undetected, bleeding episodes in the brain are much more likely to have bleeding complications after a stroke. The tiny prior episodes are called microbleeds and these patients may need to be treated more cautiously following a stroke, according to the American Heart Association.
