First cloned cat makes debut

COLLEGE STATION, Texas, Feb. 14 (UPI) -- The first cloned cat, named "CC" for carbon copy, successfully cloned at Texas A&M University, appears healthy and robust, researchers said Thursday. Some believe it may pave the way for future cloning of pets, according to the research, which is to be published in the Feb. 21 issue of the journal Nature.
