Consumers getting help with late fees

WASHINGTON, Dec. 11 (UPI) -- House members and financial community representatives Tuesday announced an agreement to help consumers avoid late fees and other consequences of payments delayed by the anthrax mailings and possible future incidents. The agreement protects banks by establishing a system for the U.S. Postal Service to certify what areas have suffered mail disruptions.
