Senate hearing discusses cloning ban

WASHINGTON, Dec. 4 (UPI) -- Scientists and senators alike used a hearing Tuesday to try and transform the language surrounding recent reports of successful human embryo cloning. Although the Senate has deferred debate on a cloning ban, calls to either ban all cloning research or just reproductive cloning dominated discussion at the hearing.
