Ablation used in infant arrhythmias

CHARLESTON, S.C., Dec. 3 (UPI) -- Cardiologists at the Medical University of South Carolina say they can use radiofrequency catheter ablation to treat potentially fatal arrhythmias in infants. The procedure has become a common way to treat arrhythmias in adults but researchers say it is indicated only for infants for whom medication is not a good option.
