Long recovery from mass extinction seen
WASHINGTON, Nov. 29 (UPI) -- A National Research Council study and a separate public opinion poll released Thursday suggest Congress should avoid intervening in the deployment of high-speed Internet access or "broadband." The study said there is no race between broadband technologies and the survey indicated Net users place a low priority on universal broadband access.
