Russia lifts anthrax-related meat ban

TALLAHASSEE, Fla., Oct. 22 (UPI) -- Russia has lifted its ban on meat products shipped from Florida after assurances no livestock had been infected with anthrax, the Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services said Monday. The ban was begun shortly after media reports of human anthrax in the state.
