More anthrax infections suspected in DC

WASHINGTON, Oct. 22 (UPI) -- One Washington postal worker has the deadly inhaled form of anthrax and five ill people are being tested Monday after being hospitalized with possible anthrax symptoms. Two post office facilities in the nation's capital area are closed and being cleaned of anthrax spores while more than 2,100 postal workers are being tested for exposure to the bacteria.
