LOS ANGELES, Sept. 29 (UPI) -- Doctors say they expect a full recovery for University of Southern California running back Stafon Johnson after a weightlifting accident.

LOS ANGELES, Sept. 28 (UPI) -- Southern Cal running back Stafon Johnson had emergency surgery Monday after a weightlifting bar slipped from his hand and landed on his throat, the school said.
