Stanley Cup finals: Pittsburgh Penguins forward Evgeni Malkin avoids suspension for instigator penalty

The NHL announced late Saturday night it would not suspend Evgeni Malkin despite the fact the Pittsburgh Penguins forward received an instigator penalty in the waning seconds of Sunday's Game 2 of the Stanley Cup finals.
