Denard Span had four hits and a career-high six RBIs, leading the Minnesota Twins to an 11-6 victory over the Kansas City Royals on Saturday night for their 11th victory in 12 games.

KANSAS CITY, Mo., Aug. 23 (UPI) -- Minnesota bombed the Kansas City Royals 10-3 Sunday, blowing the game open with an eight-run, seventh-inning rally that featured two Michael Cuddyer home runs.
