Source: Palmer to sit Thursday, OK for Week 1

Cincinnati Bengals quarterback Carson Palmer, who has been nursing a sprained ankle since Aug. 14, will not play in Cincinnati's preseason finale against the Colts but will play in the team's regular-season opener against Denver, a team source said.
