Sotomayor to take Supreme Court oath

Aug. 8, 2009
Sonia Sotomayor will make history today when she is sworn in as the nation's first Hispanic Supreme Court justice. Chief Justice John Roberts will swear her in twice. The first ceremony will be private. A second ceremony will be held in front of Sotomayor's friends, family and the media.
