Sotomayor's philosophy: 'Fidelity to the law'

U.S. Supreme Court nominee Sonia Sotomayor said today her judicial philosophy is simple: "fidelity to the law." Appearing before members of the Senate Judiciary Committee, Sotomayor said, "The task of a judge is not to make law -- it is to apply the law."
