Republican McDonnell Wins Virginia Governor's Race

As ballots were cast for state and local races across the nation, the GOP scored an early, easy victory in Virginia. Republican Bob McDonnell was projected as the winner of the governor's race there. President Obama had raised money for the Democrat, Creigh Deeds.
