Report: Lions to place QB Kitna on injured reserve

Quarterback Jon Kitna might have a back injury that is more serious than expected, and if he isn't traded by Tuesday's 4 p.m. deadline, the Detroit Lions plan to put him on injured reserve, according to The Oakland (Mich.) Press.
