Raptors Hire Iavaroni as Assistant to Triano

TORONTO (AP) -- The Raptors have hired former Memphis Grizzlies coach Marc Iavaroni as an assistant to Jay Triano and are parting ways with assistants Mike Evans and Gord Herbert.

Toronto removes Triano's interim label

TORONTO, May 11 (UPI) -- Jay Triano, who has coached the Toronto Raptors on an interim basis since December, was formally made the NBA team's coach Monday.
