North Carolina tumbles in women's coaches' poll

Three straight losses -- including one at unranked Georgia Tech -- have sent North Carolina reeling in the ESPN/USA Today women's basketball poll.

BLACKSBURG, Va., Jan. 13 (UPI) -- A 23-point effort by Zabian Dowdell boosted Virginia Tech to a 94-88 upset over top-ranked North Carolina Saturday.

COL BKB: North Carolina 91, Geo. Tech 69

CHAPEL HILL, N.C., Jan. 12 (UPI) -- Jawad Williams led North Carolina to a quick start Wednesday night and the fourth-ranked Tar Heels dominated Georgia Tech, 91-69.
