Longoria and Soto Win Rookie of the Year Awards

Evan Longoria won the American League Rookie of the Year award Monday by unanimous vote, and Geovany Soto ran away with the National League honor.

NEW YORK, Nov. 10 (UPI) -- Tampa Bay third baseman Evan Longoria and Chicago catcher Geovany Soto were voted the American and National League rookies of the year, officials said Monday.
