Judge dismisses Broadcom co-founder's guilty plea

A federal judge has dismissed Broadcom co-founder Henry Samueli's guilty plea on charges that he lied to investigators in a stock options backdating probe.

LOS ANGELES, June 23 (UPI) -- Henry Samueli, a co-founder of Broadcom Corp. and owner of the NHL's Anaheim Ducks, pleaded guilty in Los Angeles Monday to a felony stock option charge.
