Israel ponders temporary settlement freeze

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is requesting his Security Cabinet approve a temporary freeze on settlement construction in the West Bank in an effort to restart peace talks with the Palestinians, his office announced Wednesday.
