WASHINGTON, Nov. 11 (UPI) -- U.S. Vice President Dick Cheney laid a wreath at the Tomb of the Unknowns at Arlington National Cemetery Tuesday to mark the 90th anniversary of World War I.

Only known WWI vet, 107, honored

KANSAS CITY, Mo., May 26 (UPI) -- Frank Woodruff Buckles of West Virginia, at 107 years old, is the only known remaining United States veteran of World War I.

WASHINGTON, March 6 (UPI) -- The man thought to be the last known U.S. veteran of World War I was honored Thursday at the White House and at the Pentagon.
