Inmate executed using new method

An Ohio man convicted of killing and dismembering a 22-year-old woman was executed using a new, untested one-drug method of lethal injection.

LUCASVILLE, Ohio, Dec. 1 (UPI) -- Ohio prison authorities say they will use a new method of lethal injection on a convicted killer next week, becoming the first in the nation to do so.

Supreme Court denies lethal injection case

WASHINGTON, May 22 (UPI) -- The U.S. Supreme Court has denied review to a case that attempted to test the constitutionality of the method most states use for lethal injection.
