Husband Of Retired High Court Justice O'Connor Dies

John J. O'Connor III, himself a lawyer, died in Phoenix, Ariz., of complications arising from Alzheimer's disease. Supreme Court Justice Sandra Day O'Connor cited the need to care for her husband in announcing her retirement in 2005.
