MIAMI, Nov. 9 (UPI) -- Tropical Storm Ida was closing in on the U.S. Gulf Coast Monday night and forecasters said the storm would probably make landfall during the night.
MIAMI, Nov. 8 (UPI) -- Hurricane Ida gained strength as it crossed the Gulf of Mexico Sunday and a hurricane warning was posted for part of the northern Gulf Coast, forecasters said.
MIAMI, Nov. 7 (UPI) -- Ida remained a tropical storm Saturday morning, but Mexican officials had the Yucatan Peninsula under a hurricane watch in case the storm strengthens.
MIAMI, Nov. 6 (UPI) -- Tropical depression Ida was heading north away from Honduras Friday night with forecasters saying the one-time hurricane could rejuvenate itself.
MIAMI, Nov. 5 (UPI) -- Hurricane Ida made landfall in eastern Nicaragua Thursday with 75 mph winds, but degraded to a near-stationary tropical storm, U.S. forecasters reported.
