South Dakota: Incumbent Dem Johnson leads

SIOUX FALLS, S.D., Nov. 5 (UPI) -- Incumbent Democrat Tim Johnson held a 3-point lead late Tuesday over Republican challenger Rep. John Thune, in voting for South Dakota's U.S. Senate race. With 42 percent of precincts reporting, Johnson led Thune 51 percent to 48 percent.
