ATLANTA, Nov. 5 (UPI) -- In the Georgia Senate race, incumbent Democrat Max Cleland had 565,691 votes, while Republican challenger Saxby Chambliss had 624,485, with 68 percent of the precincts were reporting.

WASHINGTON, Nov. 5 (UPI) -- With 52 percent of Georgia's precincts reporting, incumbent Democrat Sen. Max Cleland has 426,162 votes, or 46.5 percent, while Republican challenger Saxby Chambliss has pulled ahead with 478,171, or 52.2 percent.
