CHICAGO (AP) -- Alfonso Soriano redeemed himself for an earlier mental miscue by hitting a game-ending grand slam in the 13th inning to lead the Chicago Cubs past the Houston Astros 5-1 on Monday night.

CHICAGO, May 16 (UPI) -- Alfonso Soriano's second hit Saturday, a ninth-inning RBI single, boosted the Chicago Cubs to a 5-4 win over the Houston Astros, their fifth straight win.
