ALLEN PARK, Mich., Jan. 24 (UPI) -- Wide receiver Mike Furrey Wednesday signed a new three-year contract with the Detroit Lions. The former safety led the NFC with a career-high 98 receptions for 1,082 yards and six touchdowns this season while Detroit won only three of its 16 games.
