Bill Madden of the Daily News of New York has won the Hall of Fame's Spink Award for his work as a baseball writer.

INDIANAPOLIS, Dec. 8 (UPI) -- Long-time New York Daily News baseball writer Bill Madden was voted the J.G. Taylor Spink Award for his contributions to writing about the sport.
