Amputee sprinter Oscar Pistorius recovering after surgery

Oscar Pistorius is expected to be moved out of intensive care within a few days and may be able to return home soon afterward as he responds to treatment for an injury sustained in a boating accident.

Amputee sprinter eligible for Olympics

LAUSANNE, Switzerland, May 16 (UPI) -- Oscar Pistorius, the 21-year-old South African sprinter who runs on prosthetic limbs, was declared eligible Friday for the 2008 Beijing Summer Olympics.
