Air France pilots faced a cascade of failures

First, a glitch appeared in the air speed sensors of Air France Flight 447. Then, according to aviation experts, one high-tech system after another of the highly automated jetliner began going off line. The first sign of trouble was a glitch that appeared in the air speed sensors.
