An Illinois meat producer recalled nearly 96,000 pounds of potentially contaminated beef, the federal government announced Thursday.

WASHINGTON, May 19 (UPI) -- The U.S. Food Safety and Inspection Service announced the recall of an undetermined amount of beef products due to possible contamination.

Wisconsin firm recalls ground beef

GREEN BAY, Wis., Sept. 18 (UPI) -- A Wisconsin meat company is recalling 59,000 pounds of ground beef products that may be contaminated with the potentially deadly E. coli bacteria.
