Watch seemingly naked couples tase each other in slow motion for art

"A few people looked like they were experiencing pleasure while others had the most painful faces I've ever seen," noted shocking photographer.

CHARLESTON, S.C., Aug. 26 (UPI) -- A South Carolina-based photographer used a stun gun and high-end film equipment to record couples and friends tasing each other in a state of simulated nudity.

Using two Sony FS 700s, a Nikon D810 DSLR and a stun gun purchased from Amazon, Patrick Hall records his subjects' anticipation, shock and pain in 240 fps as 300,000 volts of electicity ran through their body.

"Some people screamed while others were quiet," Hall wrote on fStoppers.com.

"A few people looked like they were experiencing pleasure while others had the most painful faces I've ever seen. I even had about four guys and girls who did not react at all and seemed to be completely unphased by the 300,000 volts of electricity."

Hall's project has been met with largely positive reaction, although many are irked by his colloquial use of the word "taser," noting it refers to a two-pronged literal gun manufactured by TASER International that shoots electrified barbs into its victims, while Hall used a much less powerful stun gun that requires the user to apply contact.

"Yeah I understand the differences [between a Taser and a stun gun] but everyone knows the phrase Taser and it rolls off the lips better than 'The Stun Gun Photoshoot.' It would not be practical to shoot taser barbs into each participant."
