FORT PIERCE , Fla., Feb. 11 (UPI) -- Sounds like the wedding might be off…

According to a Fort Pierce police report, Florida woman Melissa Bopp stabbed her fiancé with a “big knife" because he wouldn't drive her to the liquor store.

Bopp was arrested and charged with aggravated battery after Cedric Henry called 911 to report that he had been stabbed in the stomach. Bopp's child witnessed her stabbing Henry, according to the police report.

Henry said that he refused to take Bopp to the store because he didn’t want to drive while he was intoxicated. He was transported to Lawnwood Regional Medical Center for treatment.

The groom-to-be’s grandmother told police that Bopp and Henry live together and were supposed to be getting married next week. It’s unclear if that will still be happening.
